Thanks for the good news all around. That Model O belongs with you. What pieces are in your repertory today? In a message dated 11/13/2005 10:56:53 PM Eastern Standard Time, ppmartorella@cox.net writes: Peter, OK. I just burned one copy for you of Relax and Dream. I almost could have done it via computer with mp3's. I decided that I will mail it to you instead along with a tape of an old recording of mine at my old Baldwin piano of the Scriabine Sonata No. 5 and the Prokofieff Sonata No. 2 (dminor). I kind of miss that old Baldwin piano since I sold it just before moving to Rhode Island. I now own a beautiful Steinway and Sons grand piano. It's a model O. Kind of rare and one of its kind. I'm fortunate to own it. It is really exquisite in tone and appearance. The old recording is of poor quality; however, you'll get some idea as to how I played those works. Best, Philip

Correspondence:

PD:  I wish I had you playing Scriabin's 5th...

PM:  I used to play that piece. It's a great work with all those luscious chords that Scriabine so amazingly built. I probably have it on an old tape. Not sure if I can promise you that recording though....Well, maybe. ?? I'd have to find it and that could be very time consuming because I didn't label everything on each tape, unfortunately. Oh, well. I'll do my best.
